When QS World University Rankings 2026 published in Hospitality & Leisure Management it was clear that many of our schools qualify for a top position!
It is not a coincidence, no, it is the result of long-term and stubborn work – by teachers who are passionate about their subject, by students who are challenged to perform at the highest level, and by an educational philosophy that never settles for what is right.

Les Roches, ranked number 2, is one of the few hotels and restaurants in the world that have both the status of Institute for Applied Science under the Swiss Accreditation Council (SAC) and is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
Glion is ranked number 3 in total and number 3 in terms of employer’s reputation. The school prepares future leaders for international careers in the hotel and luxury industry.
SHMS retains its position at the top, and also César Ritz, strengthened by the Swiss state accreditation in 2023. HIM consolidates its position as a business-oriented school with a clear international profile. CAAS is the only cook school in the world that is among the top ten. And the brams, the sticker in the luzer, keeps climbing up.
Not just a number
A ranking measures results. It does not measure what creates them – the daily encounter between student and teacher, the practical learning, the community that is formed when people from all over the world share a goal.
It is most obvious when students enter the working life. With access to five or more internships to choose from during the course – and at least one concrete job offer at the graduation – our students do not leave school to start looking. They leave with experience, contacts and a clear direction. It is the result of over 100 industry partners and an alumni network that actively requests our candidates.
Academic weight comes from collaborations with our international university partners, while Swiss state accreditation confirms that quality also holds for review at home. Our school results in QS 2026 are proof that the equation is valid!
