Students at Domus Academy, from the Master’s programmes in Fashion Design and Fashion Management, were commissioned to explore new opportunities to create fashion design that reflects our time.
The project’s goal was to lift PepsiCo brands Pepsi MAX and Rockstar to new iconic and portable garments that not only inspire and engage consumers, but also take into account important aspects such as belonging, identity and sustainability.
After an intensive workshop, twelve international students from Domus Academy have worked for more than three months to develop their collections, where creativity, innovation and strategic thinking have been at the centre.

At the end of the workshop, representatives from the company and the brands selected two winners: Louis Lanting (Netherlands) for Rockstar and Zih Ling Chen (Taiwan) for Pepsi MAX.
Based on the selected collections, prototypes were created and displayed during Fashion Graduate Italia 2021 in Milan, a prestigious showcase where new talent in fashion is given the opportunity to present their work.
In addition, these capsule collections will be exhibited at PepsiCo Design and Innovation Center in New York City, where they reach a global audience and continue to inspire in fashion, design and brand innovation.
