Back to school in collaboration with Manuelito

The students together with the teachers at the Bachelor’s Programme in Creative Technology and Manuelito presents “Manuelito Back to School”. A collaboration that develops during February and March in a series of live broadcasts that started on February 9th, on Manuelitos Twitch channel. The collaboration will take place at the same time as the launch of the NABA Twitch channel, where the last two live events in the series will take place.

The ten digital events will present the digital elements created in the Bachelor’s programme for the project to the public. Through a character study based on Manuelito’s appearance, a 3D avatar and a virtual environment will be created and presented live on Twitch.

The creative idea will revolve around the theme of flying, Manuelitos great passion. Space-realistic 3D modelling will lead to the development of scenarios, paving the way for XR (Extended Reality).

These innovative technologies will be presented by Emanuele Lomello, course leader for the Bachelor’s Programme in Creative Technology, and teachers Mirko De Angelis, Gabriele Lai, Antoni Montanari, Andrea Susini, Giovanni Visai, who will be teaching Manuelito how to use the systems developed within the academy to involve the channel’s community.
